"Monterey" Walnut Dining Table

“Monterey” is simple and woodsy, and still exhibits grace and elegance. This version of the table, in walnut, exhibits what happens when a tree suffers damage to its’ roots or root flare and allows fungus to take hold, rotting the tree from the inside out. The cave-like arches of in the table legs are quite unique and offer a dark contrast to the already dark black walnut.

This piece is shown staged in a Preston Allen Homes LLC custom home which is a part of the 2020 Town and Country Home Tour in Fort Wayne, IN. It was a pleasure working with Nancy and Dean with The Tiny Shed! I hope to stage more of my work with them in future homes!

The table was set roomy for four and six guests, but you could easily squeeze in up to eight.

Each piece is finished with a protective oil and hardwax blend for a beautiful and warm matte finish. Finish will not water-spot.
