Ash is a favorite wood of mine so when I spotted this on Facebook marketplace I had to drive down and snatch it up. It took approximately 3 hours to load with the log arch, but I would attribute some of that time taken to the other 15’x22” ash log on the trailer getting in the way.

No one was hurt, but I blew out a brake line pulling this payload to the sawmill - whew! Old rusty trucks…

The process of taking any ole’ tree, cutting it down, milling it, drying it, and then turning the wood into furniture is a huge passion.
